Whether it’s old wounds, conflicts, or things we’ve been avoiding, the moon shines a light on what needs healing. This can feel chaotic, but it’s also an opportunity to address and release what’s no longer serving you.
Energy Surge: You may notice that it’s harder to sleep or relax during the full moon. This increase in energy can make you feel restless, anxious, or scattered. For moms who are already sleep-deprived, the full moon’s intensity can make it even harder to find moments of calm.
Spiritual Practices to Embrace the Full Moon’s Energy
Rather than resisting the full moon’s energy, you can learn to work with it by incorporating spiritual practices into your routine. These practices can help you navigate the chaos, ground yourself, and harness the full moon’s power for transformation.
1. Full Moon Release Ritual
The full moon is the perfect time to let go of anything that’s holding you back. A release ritual is a simple but powerful way to clear emotional and energetic blocks.
How to Do It:
Find a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. Light a candle to set the mood.
Write down anything you’re ready to release—negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, unhealthy relationships, or anything that’s weighing you down.
Once you’ve written everything down, take a moment to reflect on how these things have impacted you.
Safely burn the paper, visualizing these things being released from your life. As the paper turns to ash, feel a sense of lightness and freedom.
